yes, I left autoload on, it is faster to get into the game.
How about hitting "c" to open a command list AND pause the game? And include a comment there about how to turn on/off autoload? Obviously the user manual will include the full set of commands, when it gets written.
Ok, so I'm too cheap to buy a better ship. Some of us just like to suffer <g>...

It sounds to me like you're still auto loading to skip the main menu. This is one of the options in the first option tab.
The point of this mode is fast access to epiar, so it opens and closes without needing intermittent steps like clicking options. It might be worth adding a message somewhere that would make it easier to figure out what's going on and how to disable it.
Shouldn't the shuttle be painful to use so that players want to upgrade?
Yes, p pauses still. Obviously Epiar needs a better way to discover the commands.

Got it, logging working now. "?" does bring up the options menu, thanks.

I did get the changes in code up to 6/26/11 but the menu options disappeared on startup and the game goes right into play mode at the last landing site (saved at that time).
