I just realized Dave might not want these e-mails going to the developer
list. I'll run it by him just to make sure.

I've been CC'ing these e-mails just to let everybody know about the
issue.

I've got Ubuntu 10.10 in a VM, which I hope to use to debug Dave's issue
and generate Debian/Ubuntu packages.

I'll have to work out the issue with Dave, but at least on my side,
Epiar does run just fine in Debian/Ubuntu.
