I've been working on a few different implementations of missions, but I was never happy with my design enough to commit it.
The problem with missions is that they essentially define he entire feel and gameplay of Epiar. They need to be written almost completely in Lua, with enough structure that they can be treated like objects in c, and state-full enough that we can save unfinished missions into the saved game XML file. There needs to be enough structure that we can build interesting, complex scenarios without railroading the player.
