    The main development goal of Epiar 0.6.0 (to implement mid-scenario missions, ie deliver cargo to this planet, hunt this guy down, etc. all for cash during gameplay) has been completed, however, Epiar is both not at its peak stability nor at its peak "new feature" level. To make the Epiar 0.6.0 release more valuable and more exciting, the release date has been pushed back to allow further development. New goals for the 0.6.0 include bitmap collision detection, new shield flare eye candy, graphics interpolation, stablized OpenGL support, UI enhancements, sound, and possibly save games. There's also a lot of polish that should be performed to make Epiar 0.6.0 look professional, and the current codebase simply does not conform to these desires. The new release date will hopefully be annouced soon, sorry for the delay, but, on the bright side, Epiar with missions should be in CVS within days.
