Chris is the founder of Epiar and the Epiar Development Team. He came up with the idea to do an open source game based off Escape Velocity while standing, cold, outside a building early in the morning, with Marco (see next developer), and trying to come up with something to do with his newfound SDL skills. He started programming at age eight in MS QuickBasic and began dabbling in C around eleven. His inspiration to begin writing Linux games came with his love of the late Loki Games, and from reading the book, "Programming Linux Games" by John R. Hall.

Real Name: Adam Scott
Birth Date: November 1986
Position: Epiar Artist/Contributor, Win32 (crash) Tester
IRC Handle: VashTheGod, vash

Adam is also currently brushing up on C and plans to write code for Epiar in the future.

Real Name: Eric Sargent
Birth Date: May, 1979
Position: Epiar 3D Artist, Win32 (crash) Tester
IRC Handle: Biggnthed
Website: strangethumb.luethy.net
Likes: Sleep, his wife, 3D modeling, film -not necessarily in that order-
Dislikes: Old people in cars, work, people who leave the g's off of the end of words. (i.e. runnin, workin, etc.)

Eric joined the Epiar team way back in the 0.1.0 era when he submited a 3D space craft, which at the time was the best we'd received. Eric was playing with Lightwave and just happened to stumble upon Epiar at the same time that things just fell into place. Now Eric models many of the weapons and upgrade items as well as the wonderfully done spacecraft. He is the leading 3D modeler for the Epiar team. With every new ship and upgrade item his work becomes better and better, each time receiving awe by the rest of the team. When he's not slaving away at work, walking his dog, eating greek food, or being pleased by his wife, he's modeling new things for Epiar.
